Mr Mark Clutterbuck is a 3rd degree black belt and has been training in Taekwon-Do for many years. Having always been interested in martial arts and growing up in the era of the big martial arts blockbusters he eventually decided that the best way to support his children’s journey in Taekwon-Do was to learn himself... This proved to be one of the best decisions he ever made. He found a real affinity with it, and it became a big part of his life. Mr Clutterbuck has had a successful grading history, including credit and distinction passes. He still competes
occasionally, and has had the honour of being British Champion at the destruction discipline. His main aim now is passing on his knowledge of Taekwon-Do to other people, in the same way
that others did for him and supporting Mrs Clutterbuck with her Kickboxing classes.
Mrs Clutterbuck started her martial arts training in Taekwon-Do over 15 years ago and is now a 3rd degree black belt, gaining many credits, distinctions and grading awards along the way. She then made the decision to include Kickboxing in her training to aid in her sparring. From then she’s gone from strength to strength and finally decided to open her own kickboxing school, as well as assisting with the Taekwon-Do classes.
In addition to her martial arts training/teaching, Mrs Clutterbuck
is a qualified Sports Nutritionist and Level 2 Gym Instructor, and
currently studying for Level 3. She also teaches many gym classes
at Stratford Park of both a strength and cardio nature.
She loves passing on her knowledge to others, helping them to
reach their goals, and can’t wait to support everyone on their
Kickboxing journeys!
Mr Hope Clutterbuck, Assistant Instructor. Hope is 25 years old and has achieved the grade of 3rd degree black belt – passing with credit, and also has a good history of credit and distinction
passes. He has competed successfully in national events gaining medals in both English and British championships. Hope loves to help people achieve their best and really enjoys the social aspect of Taekwon-Do. He constantly strives to improve both his own Taekwon-Do as well as that of others.
Miss Honour Clutterbuck, Assistant Instructor. Honour is 23 years old and has achieved the grade of 3rd degree black belt, including many credit and distinction passes – even winning a special award at her 2nd degree grading. She has competed successfully in domestic and international events, having held the title of British Champion and achieved multiple medals at international competitions. Honour’s journey in Taekwon-Do hasn’t always been the easiest; she was acutely shy upon starting at the age of 6, and is a great example of how Taekwon-Do can help people to grow, not only in their Taekwon-Do, but also in life. Honour also helps with the ‘Little PUMAs’ class, – a role she loves, very often being the ‘stranger’ or the ‘ill person’ needing to be put into the recovery position.
